Adding Inventory Through www.Shopautosonline.com

  1. Go to www.ShopAutosOnline.com
  2. Select the link Dealer Log In Area and then enter your SAO number and password, and then click login.
  3. Select -Add Inventory- from the menu on the left of the page.
  4. Enter the VIN of the vehicle and click Decode.
  5. Fill in the empty boxes with the appropriate information.
  6. If you have a YouTube Video of the listing, add the link in the Youtube Video Link box.
  7. Add your comments about the Vehicle in the Comments box.
  8. Below the comments box the checked boxes are options that the vehicle left the factory with. If you want to add or remove features, click the boxes to the left of each of the additional features of the vehicle.
  9. If you have pictures at the time of adding inventory, to upload multiple photos, click the browse button next to the box labeled Upload Multiple Vehicle Images. If you are loading the images from the camera BE SURE CAMERA IS ATTACHED TO THE COMPUTER AND TURNED ON. If you have loaded the pictures to a folder on your computer navigate to that folder on your computer. Select all the photos you wish to load.
  10. When you review your images in the Edit area you can add individual photos by clicking on the camera icon located in the blank image space. Navigate to the folder on your computer containing your images and select the photo you wish to load in the empty spot.
  11. If you wish to delete a photo, use the trash can icon in the top right corner of each thumbnail. Click on the trash can icon to remove that image. As you remove images the empty image slot gets filled by any remaining images in the set.
  12. You can also rearrange images. If you upload them in the wrong order all you have to do is click and hold the mouse down on the one you want to move, drag it to the spot you want it in rotation and let go of the mouse.
  13. Deleting and rearranging images are not saved until you click the SUBMIT button at the bottom. When you do, you are able to review the changes on the next page.
  14. Once you have finished adding all of the vehicle information and photos, scroll to the bottom of the page and click Submit.
