ADDING EMAIL THROUGH APPLE MAIL

To start, open Mail Application

  • Click Mail in the application menu on the top left and choose the Add Account option.
  • In the next window, select the Other Mail Account option at the bottom and press Continue.
  • Type in your email address, then click Next .
  • Add your name, email address and password. Press Sign In. The app will try to sign in, but the "Unable to verify account name or password" message will appear. This is normal, as Apple Mail cannot reach the email subdomain and will ask you to manually input email server details.
  • Email Address. This is where you add your whole email address.
  • Username. Your whole email address.
  • Password. Password JTZ Enterprise gave you for your email account.
  • Account Type. POP
  • Incoming Mail Server jtz.jtzent1.com
  • Outgoing Mail Server jtz.jtzent1.com
  • Once you are done, press Sign In.
  • Select the apps you want to use with this account and select Done.
  • From the next window, select the text Mail in the top left of the application.
  • Select Preferences from the drop down menu.
  • Select the Accounts tab, and then Server Settings.
  • In the Incoming Mail Server settings, Username is the whole email address.
  • Password in dots.
  • Host name should be jtz.jtzent1.com
  • The port is 995.
  • Use TLS/SSL should be on.
  • Authentication is Password.
  • Outgoing Mail Server – select the server jtz.jtzent1.com from the drop down.
  • In the Outgoing Mail Server settings, Username is the whole email address.
  • Password in dots.
  • Host name should be jtz.jtzent1.com
  • The port is 587.
  • Use TLS/SSL should be on.
  • Authentication is Password.
  • Select Save
  • Compose an email to yourself and make sure you can send and receive.
  • From the text Mail in the top left, select Preferences.
  • From Account page, select the Mailbox Behaviors.
  • Do not leave a copy of the messages on the server for more than 1 day.
